Ong Eng Die
Ong Eng Die, also known as Wang Yongli , was a Chinese Indonesian politician and economist.
Ong was born in Gorontalo, Indonesia onJune 1910, the son of Teng Hoen and Soei Djok Thie. He graduated from the University of Amsterdams economics department in 1940 and obtained his doctorate at the same university in 1943 upon completing his dissertation Chineezen in NederlandschIndi, een Sociografie van een Indonesische Bevolkingsgroep.
