Patric H%C3%B6rnqvist

Patric Gsta Hrnqvist is a Swedish professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League. He has also played for the Nashville Predators.

Hrnqvist was born onJanuary 1987 in Sollentuna, Sweden. He began playing hockey in local Sollentunaclub Gillbo IF and also played minor hockey in Solna SK. Hrnqvist later moved on to play junior hockey in Vsby IK Hockey. He was part of StockholmRds team in the 2002 TVpucken and also made some appearances in Vsbys senior team the same season. Hrnqvist played two additional seasons with Vsby, but when head coach Charles Berglund was acquired by Djurgrdens IF in 2004 as assistant coach, Hrnqvist followed.
