Peacock Alley is a 1922 American silent drama film starring Monte Blue and Mae Murray. The film was directed by Murrays husband at the time, Robert Z. Leonard. An incomplete print survives at the Library of Congress.
Eventually, Elmer comes to believe that Cleo is having an affair, but the film concludes with the revelation that she was just getting financial help from an old friend.The film was one of Murrays most successful films, and one of the biggest hits of 1922. The film was so successful was it was the only silent film of Murrays that she remade as a talkie under the same title, though major changes were made to the plot. ........
