Phillip Scott (politician)
Phillip Phil Scott is an American politician who is the current Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, an office he has held since 2011. Previously, he was a Vermont State Senator representing the Washington County Senate District from 2001 through 2011. He is the coowner of DuBois Construction, a small construction business located in Middlesex, Vermont.
Scott was born in Barre, Vermont on August 4, 1958. He graduated from Barres Spaulding High School in 1976, and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Vermont, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education.
