Pudhaiyal Tamil is a Comedydrama Tamil film that starring Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini in the lead roles. The film, directed by KrishnanPanju, had musical score by ViswanathanRamamoorthy and was released onMay 1957. Shot at Newtone and Revathi Studios, and processed at AVM Studio Film Laboratories. It was produced by the Kamal Brothers.

Padmini and her sister Thangam come to India, where the sister dies. Its believed that she drowned and her body lies under the sand.
