Rich Hill is a 2014 American documentary film coproduced and directed by Andrew Droz Palermo and Tracy Droz Tragos. The film premiered in the competition category of U.S. Documentary Competition program at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2014. It won the U.S. Grand Jury Prize Documentary Award at the festival.
The film chronicles challenges, hopes, and dreams of three young residents Andrew, Harley and Appachey of a rural American town.Andrews father has moved the family multiple times and his mother may suffer from agoraphobia. Harley lives with his grandmother in a trailer because his mother is in prison. Appachey was abandoned by his father at ageand lives with his mother and siblings. He chooses not to take medication for a number of conditions, including bipolar disorder, ADD, OCD, and ODD. ........
