Sadayam English With Compassion Malayalam is a 1992 Malayalam drama thriller film written by M. T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Sibi Malayil. It stars Mohanlal, Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu, Murali, Sreenivasan, Maathu, KPAC Lalitha, and T. G. Ravi. The film was produced and distributed by G. P. Vijayakumar under the banner of Seven Arts Films. The background score was composed by Johnson.

The story is about convict Sathyanathan Mohanlal sentenced to death following multiple murders of two adult men and two girlchildren he has committed and his subsequent prison life till death. The film focuses on his past and the chain of events leading to the crime and how a retelling of the tale, inadvertently, impacts the prison doctor Dr. Nambiar Thilakan, who is the father of the male victim Vijayan Mahesh.Johnson composed the songs in this movies for which the lyrics were given by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. ........
