Sahukara

Sahukara Kannada is a 2004 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by K. Manju. The film stars V. Ravichandran, Rambha, Shashikumar and Anu Prabhakar in the lead roles. Veteran actor Vishnuvardhan made a special appearance in the film. The film was a remake of Tamil blockbuster film Muthu directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring Rajinikanth and Meena in the lead roles. Muthu itself was an official remake of the 1994 Malayalam blockbuster Thenmavin Kombath, which starred Mohanlal and Shobana.

The music of the film was composed by Rajesh Ramanath. However, it is to be noted that all the songs in the soundtrack are directly recreated from the Tamil original version composed by A. R. Rahman.
