Saint Clara (film)

Saint Clara Hebrew is a 1996 Israeli film directed by Ari Folman and Ori Sivan. It is based on the novel The Ideas of Saint Clara by Pavel Kohout. The film was selected as the Israeli entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 69th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

That discovery causes mayhem in the town as its people try to take advantage of Claras powers and people escape the town as her powers have discovered a leak in the nearby nuclear plant. Clara herself has to choose between her powers and her one true love.The film wonOphir Awards, for best film, directing, best actress, best supporting actor, best editing and best music. It also won the best film award at the Haifa International Film Festival. ........
