Strawberry Shortcakes
Strawberry Shortcakes 2006 is a Japanese film by director Hitoshi Yazaki. The film, based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Kiriko Nananan, concerns the life of four girls, as they deal with their own insecurities while living in the metropolis of Tokyo. This movie ranked 7th Best Film at the 2006 Yokohama Film Festival and got Best Supporting Actress and Best Cinematography prizes from the same festival.
Satoko Works as a receptionist at an escort service Heavans Gate. At home, she often prays to God to find a boy that will love her.Akiyo Works at an escort service Heavans Gate as a call girl. She saves her money in order to eventually buy a condo situated on the 5th floor or higher. Once she gets old amp senile, she plans to jump out of her apartment to her death. She is infatuated with Kikuchi, an old school friend. Akiyo changes her appearance when around Kikuchi and conceals the fact that she is a call girl. ........
