Suryavamsam is a 1998 Telugu film directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao and produced by R. B. Choudary on Super Good Films. Starring Venkatesh, Meena, Sanghavi and Radhika in the lead roles and soundtrack is composed by S. A. Rajkumar. The film is a remake of the Kollywood film Suryavamsam 1997. The film was remade into Bollywood as Sooryavansham starring Amitabh Bachan and Soundarya. This story is also remade in Kannada as Surya Vamsha 2000 with Vishnuvardhan and Isha Koppikar in lead roles. The film recorded as Super Hit at box office.
Swapna Meena arrives for her brothers wedding to Bhanus sister. In beginning she thinks Bhanu as a servant and look down him, after some time she knows the fact and she asks Bhanus friend Nukkaraju Sudhakar actually what happened then he reveals Bhanus past. Bhanus childhood love Madhavi Sanghavi, niece to him, when everybody is marriage arrangements to them Madhavi turns down Bhanu because she does not want to unite with an untaught man. To prevent any misunderstandings, Bhanu declared that he was not interested in Madhavi and earned his fathers wrath. After listenting to Bhanus story Swapna falls in love with him, even Bhanu also accepts her love.Meanwhile, Singaraju Lingaraju makes a plan to do Swapna marriage with his son, Bhanu breaks his plan and marries Swapna and enrage both sets of their parents. They start living in the village outskirts, once Madhavi insults them, so Bhanu decides to grow up and prove himself. Swapna teaches him reading, writing and some arithmetic while she pursues her I.A.S. studies. In due of time with hard work Bhanu Prasad gradually becomes one of the biggest businessmen in town, Swapna the District Collector and a son is also born to them Junior Harischandra Prasad Master Anand Vardhan ........
