Vettaikaaran (1964 film)

Vettaikaaran Tamil English Hunter is a 1964 Tamil actiondrama film directed by M. A. Thirumugam. The film features M. G. Ramachandran and Savitri in lead roles. The film, produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar, had musical score by K. V. Mahadevan and was released onJanuary 1964. This film was a blockuster at the box office and was well received by the people.

Reportedly, the film ran for 140 days in theatres, became a blockbuster at boxoffice and became highest grossing film of the year.
